A curiosity paternity test is a private test for personal peace of mind. Not valid in court.

A non-invasive prenatal paternity test safely determines the father during pregnancy using a blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the alleged father.

An infidelity DNA test checks for traces of someone else’s DNA on personal items like underwear, sheets, or clothing. 

A maternity DNA test is used to confirm whether a woman is the biological mother of a child. It works by comparing the child’s DNA with the alleged mother’s DNA to see if they share the expected genetic markers.

A DNA test for siblingship shows how likely two people are to be related as siblings, especially when no other family members are available for testing.

An immigration DNA test is used to prove a biological relationship between family members for immigration purposes. It compares DNA from relatives (such as parents and children or siblings) to confirm they are related.

DNA testing can be done on a deceased person using stored samples or samples taken at the time of death. A viability test is performed first to determine whether there is sufficient usable DNA to continue with the relationship test.

A grandparentage DNA test checks if someone is the biological grandparent of a child. It compares the child’s DNA with the grandparents’ DNA, often used when a parent cannot be tested.
